Originally from Launceston, Jeremy Smith was a product of the Tasmanian youth cricket program and represented Australia in the 2008 U19 World cup along with fellow Tasmanian James Faulkner. Jeremy made his debut for the PKF Tasmanian Tigers in 2008/09, playing a Ford Ranger game and a Sheffield Shield game.

As a rookie listed player, Jeremy will be looking forward to consistently improve his all-round game and push for senior selection this coming season.
